Who is responsible
Tameem (Kampala, Uganda) is the data controller for personal data collected through the Tameem Effect website and app.
Data we collect and why
Account data (name, email, login credentials): to create your account and provide the service — contract performance.
Training, check-in, diet, progress photos and chat messages you submit: to provide coaching features — contract performance; health-related details are processed with your consent.
Food photos sent to the scanner: processed by an AI service only to estimate a meal; used to provide the feature.
Waitlist and newsletter emails: to tell you about drops and launches — consent.
Usage, device and push-notification data and IP address: to keep the service secure, send reminders and improve the product — legitimate interests.
Payment data is collected directly by Paddle and is not stored by us.
