Who we are
These terms are between you and Tameem ("we", "us"), the seller of the Tameem Effect website, app, membership and merchandise, based in Kampala, Uganda ("Tameem" is our legal and trading name; Tameem Effect is the brand). Site 99 UG only built and hosts the website and is not the seller. By using the service you contract with Tameem.
Acceptance
By continuing to use the website or app you agree to these terms. If you use the service for an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind it; individuals must be of legal age in their country.
The service
Tameem Effect provides fitness coaching tools, training plans, diet logging, chat, a shop and an optional paid membership (including an AI food scanner). Content is for general fitness information and is not medical advice. Consult a professional before starting any programme.
Your account
Keep your login details confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account and for giving accurate information.
Acceptable use
You must not misuse the service, including: unlawful use; fraud or spam; infringing intellectual property; harassing others in chat; or interfering with security (malware, probing, scraping).
Intellectual property
Tameem owns the service, software, documentation, branding, videos and content. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service. You keep ownership of content you upload and grant us a limited licence to host and process it to provide the service.
Payments and subscriptions
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms: https://www.paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms. Memberships renew monthly or yearly until cancelled; after cancelling you keep access until the end of the paid period.
Availability and warranties
We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. AI food scans are estimates and may be inaccurate. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim implied warranties.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the previous 12 months, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury where the law does not allow it.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or end access for material breach, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may stop using the service at any time.
General
These terms are governed by the laws of Uganda. Neither party may be held liable for events beyond reasonable control. You may not assign these terms without our consent. Contact us through the app chat or the Waitlist page.
